DESCRIPTION:WOODLAND HERBAL TRADITIONS WORKSHOP Learn how to forage and steward the native plants of the southeastern woodlands. In this tour\, we will embark on a walk through the scenic Woodlands Garden. Along the way\, we will learn how to identify over fifteen native plants and discuss their many edible\, medicinal\, and physical uses throughout history. This tour focuses on the written and oral teachings of local indigenous populations and hopes to empower you to lead a more empowered\, self-sufficient\, sustainable life\, encourage earth connection and stewardship\, and to celebrate the gifts and wisdom of indigenous cultures. Each 2-hour tour is filled to its limit on a first come-first-serve basis. Classes are 16 people maximum. Tickets are $30/ person. 15% of proceeds go to Woodland Gardens non-profit. Parking is located on site. Most paths are unpaved but are level and wide to accommodate wheelchair access. Accessible parking and restrooms are located on site. Dates: March 18th\, May 14th\, June 17th\, July 2nd\, Aug 12th\, Sept 23rd\, & Oct 7th from 2pm-4pm
