DESCRIPTION:Every Wednesday from 9am-12pm a group of volunteers join in to work on horticulture maintenance in the Garden. Volunteer projects could include anything from weeding\, watering\, mulching\, or pruning to planting or transplanting and anything in between. \nWe ask volunteers to complete an online volunteer application here. Provide information on what types of tasks you’d like to help with as a volunteer and we’ll add you to our email updates. DESCRIPTION:Spring ​Forest Bathing Series at \n​Woodlands Garden of Decatur \nForest bathing\, or shinrin-yoku\, is a Japanese form of nature therapy that is designed to connect you with nature. The word\, “bathing\,” refers to the idea of absorbing your natural surroundings using all of the senses\, rather than anything to do with water. Forest bathing aims to bring healing through connection to nature and trees.
