Qigong/Dao Yin Class: Mindful Movement Series

July 10 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
$30 – $60

Click to register. Join us for gentle Dao Yin and Qigong practices set in the serene beauty of Woodlands Garden. These ancient movement traditions are designed to reduce stress, improve balance, and deepen your connection with the natural world—offering a peaceful way to nurture both mind and body. This class is part of the Health & Wellness in Nature initiative at Woodlands Garden.

Over the course of eight weeks in June and July, we will gather on Fridays at 10:00 AM on the lawn (rain meet at screened pavilion). Each session will include guided Qigong and Dao Yin exercises that emphasize intentional breathing, gentle movement, and mindful awareness—both standing and floor-based. As foundational practices for Tai Chi, these sessions offer an accessible and meaningful introduction to this transformative art.
Weather permitting, we will also explore the garden grounds through guided walking inspired by forest bathing, enriched by Instructor Neil’s deep knowledge of trees and ecology.
