Stories in the Woods

Halloween is just around the corner. Dress up in your favorite nature costume and join Woodlands Garden and the DeKalb County Public Library for an outdoor storytime. There will be stories, crafts, and a parade around the woods on this morning of fun!

This event takes place in the Pavilion at Woodlands Gardens, 932 Scott Blvd., Decatur, GA.

Family, friendly story time from 1-2pm at Woodlands Gardens with Laura MacNorlin (bio below). Come enjoy this free story hour on the platform in the Natural Play Area. All ages welcome!

Laura MacNorlin’s is a teacher, storyteller, kids yoga instructor, mother of toddler triplets, and Ambassador for Barefoot Books. Join Laura for a Woodlands Garden filled story and family yoga time with diverse, inclusive and inspiring Barefoot Books. From exuberant singalong stories to thought-provoking tales that inspire kids to go outside, Barefoot books open windows to cultures around the world and mirror the experiences of all children. Laura has taught preschoolers and elementary students GoGrounded yoga, gardening and environmental stewardship.
