Please join us on Georgia Arbor Day (Friday, February 16) at 9am for a free Bird Walk at Woodlands. Ralph Smith, our devoted volunteer and master birder with Atlanta Audubon, will lead the walk and help attendees learn to spot the birds who call the Garden home. This Bird Walk is free and open to all. No need to register just come join. New birders are always welcome!

Want to liven up your yard this spring? Ralph Smith, master birder volunteer from the Atlanta Audubon Society, will be holding a birdhouse construction workshop at Woodlands Garden on Sunday, February 18 at 12:30 p.m., rain or shine. You can build either a bluebird or a nuthatch birdhouse-selection made day-of workshop. This is a family activity for all ages. Children will need a parent helper. The fee is $20 per birdhouse and all supplies and tools will be provided, though we could use a few extra hammers. Builders will be limited to 15. Please register in advance at director@woodlandsgarden.org. Get your birdhouse up by late February in time for spring nesting!
