Parking map of below locations available here and more detail provided below.\nCost: Free\, we just ask that you PLEASE park off-site\nCostume: Yes\, please!\n\n  \nWoodlands is thrilled to partner with Skyland Trail for the eighth annual ‘Fairies in the Garden’ celebration. Skyland Trail artists will create intricate tiny houses in the woods\, just for you to find. They could be tucked away below an old tree\, under a bridge or right along the trails. \nDiscover tiny fairy dwellings built from bark\, twigs\, branches\, seed heads\, leaves and other natural materials\, tucked in sheltered nooks along the garden’s paths. Colonies will include root fairies\, stump fairies\, fortress fairies\, moss fairies … and of course trolls under the bridge. \nYou can follow the fairy map (check out Facebook page for updates) or go exploring around the garden to seek out these enchanting fairy houses. We will also give you a whole bunch of clues to help you find them all! This year’s Fairy Celebration will include a host of fun activities and the ever-popular ‘Grand Summoning of the Fairies’ followed by the trail parade. \nVolunteers needed for this exciting event! DESCRIPTION:The Pavilion at Woodlands Garden is a perfect setting to stretch and relax. Join our instructor\, Aditi Chandrasekhar\, for a free and relaxing session of ‘Yoga in Nature’ this Saturday. Parking off-site is required; a map for the same can be found here. \nAditi is a YAI-certified yoga instructor and started her yoga practice in 2005 at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram in Chennai\, India. She received her Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga Training from the Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University in 2012. She went on to teach ‘Yoga for Fitness’ at the Vinieyoga Healing Centre (former Viniyoga Healing Foundation)\, where she has been a student since 2010. Her practice has been in the vinyasa style\, based on hatha yoga\, involving physical movement (asana practice) with a focus on breath through mudras\, kriyas\, and pranayama. She has been conducting ‘Yoga in Nature’ sessions at Woodlands Garden since April 2015. \nWhen:\nSaturday\, May 19 from 4 pm to 5 pm\n(Please check our Events Calendar for the latest updates on classes) \nWhat to bring:\nYoga mat\nHand towel (to roll up under your neck)\nBottle of water \nWhat to expect:\nLots of stretches and deep breathing \nWhere:\nWoodlands Garden Pavilion \nFee:\nA donation box will be set up in a corner; all proceeds go towards preserving and maintaining Woodlands Garden.

DESCRIPTION:The Pavilion at Woodlands Garden is a perfect setting to stretch and relax. Join our instructor\, Aditi Chandrasekhar\, for a free and relaxing session of ‘Yoga in Nature’ this Saturday. Parking off-site is required; a map for the same can be found here. \nAditi is a YAI-certified yoga instructor and started her yoga practice in 2005 at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram in Chennai\, India. She received her Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga Training from the Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University in 2012. She went on to teach ‘Yoga for Fitness’ at the Vinieyoga Healing Centre (former Viniyoga Healing Foundation)\, where she has been a student since 2010. Her practice has been in the vinyasa style\, based on hatha yoga\, involving physical movement (asana practice) with a focus on breath through mudras\, kriyas\, and pranayama. She has been conducting ‘Yoga in Nature’ sessions at Woodlands Garden since April 2015. \nWhen:\nSaturday\, April 7 from 4 pm to 5 pm\n(Please check our Events Calendar for the latest updates on classes) \nWhat to bring:\nYoga mat\nHand towel (to roll up under your neck)\nBottle of water \nWhat to expect:\nLots of stretches and deep breathing \nWhere:\nWoodlands Garden Pavilion \nFee:\nA donation box will be set up in a corner; all proceeds go towards preserving and maintaining Woodlands Garden.
