Rental Options

There are three options available for event rentals, and one event space that can be reserved in advance:

  • Small event (up to 20 people): The Overlook Rooms
  • Medium event (20-40 people): The Pavilion
  • Large event (40-75 people): Exclusive Garden Event includes the use of a mile of wooded trails, an open lawn area, an outdoor amphitheater, the Pavilion and the Overlook Rooms
  • Free, public space (10 to 25 people): The outdoor amphitheater is open for public use daily during daylight hours

Detailed Rental Options:

The Overlook Rooms

The Overlook Rooms are located on the second floor of the Woodlands Garden office building. These three connected rooms have hardwood floors and large windows overlooking the Garden. The front room features a non-working fireplace, a small seating area, and can accommodate up to 10 chairs and two tables for small groups. The middle room can accommodate up to 8 chairs and a table. The last room, with large windows on two sides, is the largest of the three rooms and can comfortably accommodate up to 20 chairs. The Overlook Rooms are an ideal option for a small shower, a business meeting or retreat, and provide a picturesque location for a bridal party to get ready.

Capacity: Up to 20 people

Pricing: $65/hour on a weekday and $100/hour on a weekend (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday)


The Pavilion

The Pavilion at Woodlands Garden is a charming, rustic structure surrounded on three sides by fantastic views of the lush Garden. This screened-in gazebo style event space comes complete with a large working stone fireplace, 3 moveable yet sturdy benches, 1 overhead fan and lighting. The Pavilion offers access to electricity, 20 folding chairs, and 3 tables (each 6 ft in length). Restrooms can be found at the Visitor’s Center, a short walk away from this event space. The Pavilion is ideal for small celebrations, birthday parties for all ages, holiday gatherings, workshops, and memorial services.

Capacity: Up to 40 people

Pricing: $65/hour on a weekday and $100/hour on a weekend (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday)


Exclusive Garden Event

Includes both the Overlook Rooms & Pavilion listed above in addition to other Garden areas

The Garden, Pavilion and Overlook Rooms at Woodlands Garden will provide the perfect setting for your wedding or large special event. This reservation includes:

  • Up to five hours of exclusive use of the entire Garden
  • Access to a mile of wooded trails
  • Use of an open lawn area large enough for a rented tent to cover event space including seated guests and dance floor
  • An outdoor amphitheater with log benches for an informal gathering, the Pavilion and the Overlook Rooms (details about Pavilion & Overlook Rooms listed above). During an Entire Garden rental, the Garden is closed to other walk-in visitors.


Capacity: Up to 75 people

Pricing: $1,800 to $2,500
